Will Pattie, Conducting Intern

Will Pattie began his conducting studies during his undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. After completing a Bachelor in Music Education in 2006, he taught High School Instrumental Music for two years at the American International School in Egypt in Cairo, Egypt. While in Cairo, he also became the Music Director for the Ma'adi Community Orchestra, a 25-member string ensemble. Upon his return to the U.S., he worked as an intern for the Richmond Youth Symphony Orchestra and helped conduct the VCU Trombone Choir. Will is currently a Master's candidate in Orchestral Conducting at Catholic University in Washington, DC and lives in Baltimore, MD.
