About Senior Flute Ensemble

The Senior Flute Ensemble explores an eclectic repertoire of music from the Renaissance to the 21st century, including works such as Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3.

The ensemble is made up of student flutists of the highest level, generally high school age. Students perform on members of the flute family including piccolo, C flute, alto flute, and bass flute.

The Senior Flute Ensemble has appeared in major venues and events, collaborated with guest artists, and has been included in CYSO travels abroad.
