CYSO Japanese Cultural Celebration & Fundraiser
Tuesday, November 10, 2026 | 6:00 PM
New Village Academy | Annapolis Mall
Join the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra (CYSO) for a special evening celebrating Japanese culture, music, food, and community while supporting the next generation of young musicians!
This family-friendly event will bring our community together for an evening of cultural discovery and entertainment. Experience Japanese traditions through engaging presentations, a traditional Taiko drumming performance, Japanese folk dance, and an Ikebana (flower arranging) demonstration. Guests can also enjoy an origami station, photo booth, raffle, and delicious food and beverages.
As CYSO looks ahead to its planned 2028 Japan Tour, this celebration also offers a wonderful opportunity for our students and families to explore Japanese culture and traditions.
Preorder Food and Drinks
We're partnering with local businesses to offer two delicious options for families to enjoy during the celebration. Food and beverages can be ordered separately using the links below.
Boba Drinks – $6 each
Also known as bubble tea, boba is a sweet, refreshing drink available in a variety of flavors and served with chewy tapioca pearls. Choose from delicious options including matcha, milk tea, taro, and more!
